I take it Tony Blair is not on your favorite politicians list, do you see the war in Iraq and Britain's role as a signpost of defeat for Mr. Blair soon? My memory of parliamentary procedure is somewhat foggy, do you have a general election coming up anytime soon and do you think he may be removed in a no confidence vote to be replaced by an opposition government? Or do you think his own party has strength enough to maintain the office of PM?

I think there are similar feelings in both America and England with the current leaders. Some of what has happened in Iraq has soured them a little on there leaders, but they do still look favorably on many other things they've done.

Sounds like though the problems may be a little different over in Merry Ole England, the chatter about what to do in the next election is the same.

What to do? And would a change be for the better?

Remember, change for the sake of change is not always a good thing?

The Labour party will win the next Election Easily.
I think they can call it from late 2005 onwards (Dependent on opinion polls)
Tony Blair however will not be Prime Minister, The Scandal over non existent Weapons of mass detruction and the latest revelations that MI6 bugged the United nations and specifically Kofi Anan, Will probably see him off.
Shame I really liked the Fella
The Two big issues in the Country at the moment
are ILleagal immigrants (Which is huge, There are loads, and is a real vote winner)
And Crime, our crime figures are shocking

I thought you no longer liked Blair, or was it mainly his support of the war that you disliked? Blair is surprising in his closeness to the USA when traditionally Labour Party PMs took a more independent stance and distanced themselves from US policies as much as possible. I suppose the EU throws a new dynamic into the equation which seems to somewhat isolate Britain and forces new allegiances on the world scene. Would you agree?

I do like Blair and support his stance on Terrorism (anyone remeber the IRA) but the Iraq Situation is shocking and the reasons given for attacking were lies.

Our isolation in Europe is all our own doing, The refusal to go into the Monetary Union is fully supported by Me (Would you get in to bed with French)Maybe if they were 4 ft high and wore funny hats Eh GL [img]biggrin.gif[/img] )
I fully support our closeness to the US and indeed have advocated on this board the UK becoming the 51st state.
George Bush However is an arrogant incompetent Politician and is merely a votable face for the Oil Buisness
